Purpose of use: Subway line maintenance works
RailBear BB400 is a 4-axle track maintenance vehicle for railways and subway lines. The machine is used for transport and lifting tasks required for track construction and maintenance. It can tow and push freight wagons and other machinery. It has a fixed mobile crane to move loads in the vicinity of the machine and to lift people with a crane basket. The machine is also equipped with snow ploughing and snow centrifuging capabilities. In addition, two identical tracked machines can be combined to form a train capable of transporting large loads. This is called tandem drive (multiple working) and the whole train is driven from the cab of only one of the machines.
