Aleksi Korkee Joins Saalasti Rails as Maintenance Manager – Welcome Aleksi!
We are excited to announce that Aleksi Korkee has joined Saalasti Rails as our new Maintenance Manager in early November. Aleksi brings extensive experience from Finnish industry and a strong development mindset that supports continuous improvement in maintenance.
Local Expertise with Broad Industrial Background
Aleksi is originally from Kouvola area, and is pleased to find a meaningful career opportunity close to home. His previous roles include positions at ABB, NRC Group, and Prevas, and he completed his Master’s thesis at Metso. His career spans maintenance, production development, and project management.
Aleksi describes himself as an experienced development professional with solid expertise in production technology, Lean methods, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. He holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from LUT University.
Developing Maintenance – Clarity and Perspective
Aleksi sees maintenance development as a key part of Saalasti Rails’ growth and customer service. His goal is to bring clarity to instructions, strengthen safety objectives, and introduce an external perspective to improve operating models. Development and change require commitment and that’s exactly where Aleksi wants to focus.
